Wishlisted

I have never had so much trouble coming up with a Christmas list.  This year it has been such a struggle to create my list.  Usually, I'm able to write it within a half hour or so.  This year it has taken me several weeks to come up with just a small list. I'm not sure if it is because I am getting older, I'm working so I can purchase what I want, or if I'm just so content with life right now.  I'm thinking it is a combination of these three things. For probably the first time ever, my mom had to ask me for my wish list on multiple occasions.  I generally have it made and shared by mid November. 

Each year that I get older I find greater joy in giving gifts rather than receiving them. I take a decent amount of time to pick out thoughtful gifts rather than giving something meaningless out of obligation.  I enjoy watching the joy that is brought to my friends and family when they open something that was picked out special for them.  It makes me feel good when I can make others smile.  While this should be the reason that the holidays are considered the season of giving, I think the true meaning behind giving gets lost in the commercial shuffle. 

After lots of thinking I finally created my list. I consulted my Pinterest boards, some of my favorite online shopping sites, and thought about some practical items that I could use.  

BB Cream//Naked Palette // Laptop Shell// Tassel loafers // blanket scarf//
  Fitbit band //Armband // headphones 

Keep in mind that this is a true wish list. By no means do I expect to find all of these items wrapped under the tree Christmas day.  It is a true wish list- a list of things that I would like to have.  I do have to say I am a fan of the element of surprise, so I always enjoy a surprise gift or two! My mom is always the best at knowing what I want without me even realizing I wanted the item.

Current Lust List

There's nothing that I absolutely need to buy right now, but there are a few things that I have been eyeing up. You can find them below!

I am a huge fan of athletic leggings. I've been trying to find these Lilly leggings on sale. They are adorable. They can take a bland athleisure outfit to the next level. I also have been eyeing up those Athleta leggings. I like to the pattern play they have. 

Since our trip to Georgetown, I cannot thinking about this gingham dress. I tried it on the other day at my local Anthropologie. It looks even cuter on than it does on the website. I just can't justify spending that much of a dress that I'm not sure when exactly I would wear. 

I have one set of short/t-shirt pajamas, but I have been hunting for another pair. If only these shorts had a matching top to go with them. They are a decent price and adorable. The pink ones are my favorite. 

Deep in my heart I will always love Alpha Delta Pi. What better duo than Alpha Delta Pi and Kiel James Patrick. This bracelet is absolutely perfection. It's been on my wish list for quite some time now. 

I have been searching for the perfect pair of loafers for quite some time now. Recently Sam Edelman came out with this pair. I like that they are backless. The tassels on them just make these shoes. 

I'm a sucker for a good Lilly Pulitzer dress. The most recent collection came to my mailbox last week in the form of a catalog. I have been crushing on this dress. I like the colors and the cut of the dress.

Wishlisted: July

This summer I am working to save my money rather than spending it. However, it never hurt to create a little Wishlist. 

Weekender bag/ Adjustable Cup Sleeve/ Tumbler/ Earrings/ Nail polish/ Sandals

Lately I've been packing to go places for a night or two so this bag would be perfect. 

Don't you hate that cold wet feeling you get from holding your iced coffee/iced tea? I know I sure do. I love adjustable cup sleeve because it is adjustable to fit any size cup. 

I am working on saving money when possible. One of the ways to do this is to make my own iced coffee.  I like the idea of having a tumbler strictly for coffee that way my water doesn't have a hint of java in it. This tumbler would be the perfect one for my morning coffee on the go. 

These earrings are perfection! They would add a nice pop of color to any summer outfit. 

I love this nail polish color! I am looking for a new color for my toes right now. 

I wear my jack rogers sandals all the time. Recently I was playing around on their website and stumbled upon these custom sandals.
