Wednesday Wisdom

Life lately has been extremely busy. I thought that things would calm down since it is summer, but apparently I was wrong. Between classes, spending time with family and friends, and working I have had very little down time... hence my lack of posts lately.  I cannot believe that I only have five more days left of classes.  The past four weeks have flown by!

"The secret of being happy is accepting where you are in life and making the most out of everyday."

With everything going on I often find myself wondering where each week has gone.  Time is going by so quickly.  This quote was a nice reminder for me to take a step back and realize how many things I am appreciative to have going on in my life.

When life gets busy remember to take a step back to take time to smell the flowers, get coffee with a good friend, go for that run you've been putting off, or read a few pages from that summer book you haven't had time to read.

Stars and Sperrys

I made it, I survived my second week of summer classes!  I have a ton of work to do, so I'm keeping today's post brief.

Check out this picture and more on my instagram: @shorelifeofmqs

I thought I'd give you a glimpse into today's outfit. The weather today is undesirable: cloudy, 60s, and some scattered showers.  What better way to conquer a dreary day with a cute and comfortable outfit. I paired my scarf and sperrys with cropped leggings and a flowing white long sleeve top.

They're Back!

Lilly agendas have hit the market another year.  Just last week Lilly Pulitzer announced that preorders were now being accepted for their August 2014 through December 2015 agendas.  I was so excited to hear this! As I've talked about numerous times, I absolutely love my Lilly agenda.  Not only is it adorable, but without it my life would be a complete disarray.

There are so many cute prints and sizes to choose from.  The past two years I've purchased the large agenda.  The large agenda is a great size, but this past school year I found myself wishing for more room to write my daily to do lists.  I have decided that I will buy a jumbo agenda this year...the question is now which pattern do I get?
I have three options for prints:

I'd love your opinions as to what print I should buy and what agenda you like use!

June

June has arrived! I cannot believe that yesterday was June 1st already. I'm starting to realize just how quickly this summer is going to go by for me.  June is definitely going to be a busy month.

Some highlights of the month include four more weeks of summer classes, the start of summer field hockey, Fault In Our Stars will be out in the theaters, working, and ending the month in Atlanta.

I have set a few goals for myself.
The first and probably the biggest goal, is to get an A in each of my summer courses.  I've quickly been hit with the realization that summer classes are a ton of work.  I definitely am up for the challenge, even if it takes a little bit of time away from my summer.

My second goal is start running more.  I'm hoping to get a run in, at least, three days a week. It's time to get back into shape.

The third goal I've created, for myself, is to cross two more things off my 101 in 1001 day list.

What goals have you set for this month?
